Maimuna Khan is a PhD student at the School of Social Work, McMaster University and works as a sessional instructor at the Faculty of Social Work, University of Calgary. She has a Master of Social Work specializing in International and Community Development, and her work relies on epistemologies of the Global South, transnational feminisms, and disability justice. Maimuna is passionate about community organizing and activism, so she continues to be involved in community work despite working in academia.
